Challenge 1: History
ANSWER THESE QUESTIONS: Who were the important people of Ancient Greece? Why were they important?
Choose three famous people from Ancient Greek times to learn more about. Create a Sonic Pics presentation that has an image of each one. Tell about why each person was important and what their contributions were. Please keep your Sonic Pics to under 2 minutes.

Challenge 2: Geography
ANSWER THESE QUESTIONS: Where is Greece? What is the land like? What other countries (in Ancient Times) was it near?
Using at least three images, one map and two images that show the topography (what the land is like) of the land, make a flyer in Pages. In your flyer answer the three questions above in separate text boxes. You can be funny and creative or straightforward and informational. Each question should have multiple complete sentences included in the answer.

Challenge 3: Economy
ANSWER THESE QUESTIONS: What kind of money did the Ancient Greeks use? What natural resources did they have? Who did they trade with?
Write a short written response in Pages that answers the questions above. You should have one long (7-10 sentences) or several shorter (4-5 sentences) paragraphs. Include a picture or two and don't forget captions.

Challenge 4: Culture
ANSWER THESE QUESTIONS: What were some essential elements of Ancient Greek Culture: What did they eat? What types of houses did they live in? What clothing did they wear day to day and for special events? What was life like as a child? What was school like? What was religion like?
Create a PicCollage with images that show at least five important elements of Ancient Greek culture. Give each image a caption that explains what it is and tells an important fact about it.

Challenge 5: Government
ANSWER THESE QUESTIONS: What contributions did the Ancient Greeks make to history, when it comes to government? How did the way the Ancient Greeks govern themselves impact the United States?
Create a two minute video response to speak about what you learned about Ancient Greek government. You will use the camera and your earbuds microphone to record. You will narrate or talk about your learning in the recording. You will probably need to write down notes in your notebook so that you are prepared to speak in the video.
